Quotations & Scope of Work
All quotations are provided free of charge and are based on the information available at the time of inspection or discussion. Quotes remain valid for a limited period and may be subject to change.
Any changes to the agreed scope of work, including design, materials, or additional requests, may result in revised pricing. No additional work will be carried out without prior agreement from the customer.
Booking & Deposits
To secure a booking, a deposit may be required. This allows us to allocate time, labour, and materials to your project.
Deposits are typically non-refundable once work has been scheduled or materials have been ordered. The remaining balance must be paid promptly upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Project Timelines & Delays
We aim to start and complete all projects within the agreed timeframe. However, as outdoor work is weather-dependent, delays may occur due to:
- Adverse weather conditions
- Delays in material supply
- Unforeseen ground conditions
We will communicate any delays clearly and aim to complete the work as efficiently as possible.
Customer Responsibilities
The customer agrees to:
- Provide safe and clear access to the work area
- Remove vehicles, furniture, and valuables before work begins
- Inform us of any known underground utilities (e.g. water pipes, gas lines, cables)
- Ensure necessary permissions or approvals are in place where required
Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in delays or additional costs.
Materials & Natural Variations
We use high-quality materials suitable for long-lasting results. However, natural products such as stone, paving slabs, and aggregates may vary in:
- Colour
- Texture
- Pattern
These variations are normal and do not affect the quality or durability of the work.
Workmanship & Standards
All work is carried out with care, skill, and attention to detail. While we aim for the highest standard, slight variations in finish may occur due to site conditions or material characteristics.
We follow industry-accepted practices to ensure durability and proper installation.
Waste Removal & Site Cleanliness
We will remove waste generated during the project unless otherwise agreed. The site will be kept as tidy as possible throughout the work.
Final cleaning will be carried out upon completion, leaving the area in a presentable condition.
Payment Terms
Payments must be made as agreed in the quotation or invoice. We reserve the right to:
- Charge interest on late payments
- Pause or delay work if payments are not received on time
Full payment is required upon completion before final handover of the project.
Cancellations & Refunds
If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify us as early as possible.
- Deposits may not be refunded if:
- Work has already been scheduled
- Materials have been purchased
- Labour has been allocated
Refunds, if applicable, will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Liability & Limitations
We take every precaution to protect your property. However, we are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage or structural issues
- Hidden ground conditions not visible before work begins
- Damage caused by third parties or external factors
- Normal wear and tear after completion
Guarantee of Work
We stand by the quality of our workmanship. Any concerns must be reported within a reasonable timeframe after completion.
We will inspect and address any genuine workmanship issues where appropriate.
